WARNING!!! Again, this is not an exhaustive list! I am lazy and forgetful!
My friend's mother made a delicious meal, but I was too embarrassed to take pictures at the table so you get nothing.
I was confused by this, but it was probably prosciutto wrapped around bread. Anyway, it was some kind of cured meat. The meat was pretty good, but salty as most meats are so I wish there was a cheese component. The bread part was a little dry. This was edible 3/10
Words cannot express the love I felt for this soup. I know the presentation in this photo is lacking, but that's because I couldn't help myself because it smelled so good and I started eating before I could take a picture. We came back to this restaurant specifically for this soup and my god I would do it again 11/10
The flavor of the ravioli was wonderful I remember it being slightly sweet, but in a good way. The cheese it was filled with tasted very good and I wish the plate was bigger. The texture was a little chewy, but even saying that feels too harsh on it 8/10
These were really good. The size of the dumpling was perfect and the outside had just the right amount of crisp balancing out the doughiness. I can't say enough good things about the taste and that's clear from how you can tell I forget to take a picture until after I already ate a few. I had some more stuff with these and it was all good. My entre was vegetable yakisoba, which I was only slightly embarrassed to pronounce in public after I heard someone else call it YACK-ih-SOH-Bah and I just couldn't pronounce it that wrong so I probably sounded like I was correcting them. 9.5/10 for the dumplings and the yakisoba I had a great time eating this.
Figured I'd lump all this in together because why not do it by the restaurant at this point? I obviously loved it here and yes we did come back just for the soup. In the other picture I think in the background is polenta with a poached egg, which sounds strange but was actually really good. Honestly I'm always impressed when someone manages to turn out a decent poached egg. In front is yellowtail, which was my friend's, but she made me have a piece and it was also pretty solid. I didn't really want raw fish anxiety though so one was all i had. I also ended up having steak, which was cooked perfectly and got me some much needed iron. I'd say this was a 10/10 way to end the vacation.
